Gold prices rise again to record highs in Yemen

SANAA / Aden, Feb. 03 (YPA) – Gold prices in Yemen markets continued, on Tuesday, to rise in the goldsmiths and jewelry markets in Aden and Sana’a.

This rise comes after gold prices had recorded a record low over the past two days in both governorates of Sana’a and Aden.

In new developments, the selling price of the gold pound in Sana’a reached 585,000 riyals, and the 21-karat gram reached 75,00 riyals, a significant increase within 24 hours, amounting to 10,000 riyals per pound and 2,000 riyals per gram.

In Aden, the selling price of the gold pound reached 1,836,000 riyals, and the 21-karat gram reached 235,000 riyals, a significant increase within 24 hours, amounting to 136,000 riyals per pound and 10,000 riyals per gram.

Average gold prices in Aden:

– Gold pound Buy: 1,751,000 riyals, Sell: 1,836,000 riyals.

– 21 karat gram Buy: 218,900 riyals, Sale: 235,900 riyals.

Average gold prices in Sanaa:

– Gold pound Buy: 575,000 riyals, Sale: 585,000 riyals.

– 21 karat gram Buy: 70,000 riyals, Sale: 75,000 riyals.
