Israeli Foreign Minister congratulates Bahrain, praises its courage in normalization agreement

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar praised what he called the “courageous leadership” of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day, at a time when facts show the continuation of political contacts and trade exchange between the two sides.

In a congratulatory statement on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day, Sa’ar said, “I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to the people of Bahrain,” adding that “the courageous leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain in joining the Abraham Accords reflects a clear vision for peace and regional cooperation.”

Sa’ar’s statements came weeks after a telephone call on October 22 between him and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region.
