MAHRA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – The head of the “General Council for the People of Mahra and Socotra Governorates,” Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Afrar, has affirmed that Mahra is passing through “difficult and deteriorating” conditions across the living, service, and security levels.
Al-Afrar indicated that this deterioration stems from “foreign interventions” and attempts to impose a reality that is rejected by the people of the governorate.
He called upon all residents of Mahra to unite and stand together to counter attempts to drag the governorate into conflicts and to reject any reality imposed from abroad.
Al-Afrar stressed that the council’s priority is to maintain Mahra’s security and stability and prevent its slide toward chaos.
