SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi affirmed on Tuesday that Yemen is currently experiencing its most powerful phase in terms of military capabilities and jihadist mobilization.
In his speech marking Martyrs’ Week, he praised the large popular turnout that accompanied the funeral ceremony of Maj. Gen. Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Sanaa armed forces, considering it an expression of the deep bond between the people and their military establishment.
During his speech, Sayyed Al-Houthi, the supreme leader of Ansarallah movement, reviewed the most prominent achievements of armed forces in the field of military manufacturing.
He spoke of Yemen’s steadfast stance in confronting the United States and “Israel” and in supporting the Palestinian people, reiterating the continued mobilization and military buildup in the face of what he described as “American-Zionist tyranny”.
Leader Al-Houthi said that the large popular turnout at the funeral of Major General Al-Ghamari carried significant connotations, describing Al-Ghamari as a symbol of honesty and detachment from personal agendas.
“The Yemeni people consider the military establishment, the armed forces, and the security forces to be part of them and to belong to them, and that they express their aspirations and act with them in a unified stance,” Sayyed Abdulmalik clarified. “The sacrifices made by the people and forces of Sanaa do not weaken the people’s resolve, but rather increased their steadfastness and determination.”
Speaking about achievements in the military industry and mobilization, Sayyed Al-Houthi also stated that Yemen leads Arab countries in military production, and that the local industry has been developed to produce a variety of weapons, from pistols to Kalashnikov rifles, artillery, sniper rifles, to drones and missiles.
He added that missile and drone production were constantly developing, and that significant achievements had been made in the field of mobilization and training, involving more than one million mujahideen, with Quranic education programs and religious and spiritual education.
Sayyed Al-Houthi noted that the Yemeni people raised the banner of jihad against the tyrants of the age, America and “Israel”, and that Yemen’s official and popular stance was sincere in supporting the Palestinian people.
He also emphasized that the confrontations over the past two years were characterized by popular and official responses that responded to the religious, humanitarian, and moral motive.
Sayyed Abdulmalik stated that the confrontations with the enemy during the past rounds revealed failures on the part of the Israeli occupation and its allies, and that there were also failures at the naval level on the part of American and British forces.
He clarified that the enemy was unable to destroy Yemen’s capabilities or force it to abandon its position, and that the resistance in Lebanon and the Palestinian comrades in Iran had persevered in the face of the attacks.
Sayyed Abdulmalik affirmed that general mobilization would continue at an increasing pace, and that efforts to build military capabilities and readiness at all levels to be continued.
“The country is at its strongest point in terms of capabilities,” he added. “Yemen is ready to return to operations or to higher levels of escalation if the enemy resumes its practices of genocide or siege against the Palestinian people.”
Al-Houthi concluded his speech by emphasizing that martyrs had a significant impact on the people’s conscience and in strengthening the spirit of determination and capability, and that the path of jihad and resistance would be continued, accompanied by mobilization, training, and capacity building.
