Saraya al-Quds detonates Israeli military vehicle in Deir al-Balah

GAZA, July 22 (YPA) – Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, claimed on Tuesday responsibility for targeting an Israeli military vehicle in Deir al-Balah area in the central Gaza Strip.

In a brief statement, Saraya al-Quds affirmed that the military vehicle was targets using an advanced “Thaqib” explosive device during its incursion into the eastern area of Deir al-Balah.

The statement explained that its fighters detonated the explosive device, which had been previously planted in the invading vehicle, stressing that the operation came as part of confronting ground incursions and the occupation’s attempts to impose field control within the Strip.

Since this morning, the outskirts of Deir al-Balah have been witnessed limited Israeli military activity, interspersed with combing operations and gunfire.

This comes amid the ongoing aggression on Gaza for the 290th consecutive day, after escalating resistance operations and targeting the invading vehicles with explosive devices and anti-tank weapons.
