CARACAS, June 28 (YPA) – Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro awarded on Saturday the special Simón Bolívar Award to Sahar Emami and the martyrs of the Israeli brutal attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building.
Mr. Maduro, during a ceremony attended to mark on National Journalist Day, awarded journalism prize to the female broadcaster Sahar Emami who performed until the last seconds amid the Israeli bombing on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) news building.
The journalism prize was received by the Iranian ambassador in Venezuela on behalf of Ms. Emami and the families of the honored martyrs of the Israeli aggression.
In a speech to a large gathering of journalists, Maduro strongly condemned the US and Israeli attacks, praising the steadfastness of the Iranian people and its armed forces.
