Israeli occupation forces blow up home of detainee near Hebron

WEST BANK, June 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces blew up the home of detainee Izz al-Din al-Masalma in the town of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron, on Tuesday morning, Palestinian media reported, citing a local official.

Beit Awwa Municipality Director Mohammad al-Masalma said that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town with a large number of military vehicles and raided the home of detainee Izz al-Din Salama al-Masalma, 28, in the center of the town.

They imposed a military cordon around the area and forced several families living in the area to evacuate their homes.

Al-Masalma added that the occupation forces blew up the ground floor of the three-story house, which was home to more than 20 residents.
