Fatah al-Intifada reveals PLO’s meeting aims to deepen division about Palestine cause

AL QUDS, April 24 (YPA) – Fatah al-Intifada movement strongly criticized on Thursday the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Central Council (PLO)’s meeting, considering it aims to deepen the division and does not serve the Palestinian cause.

The movement said in a statement that the meeting also came at a dangerous time coinciding with the ongoing genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. However, the meeting did not meet the aspirations of the people, instead serving “factional and personal” interests and contributing to deepening internal divisions.

The statement condemned the “obscene language” that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas used against Palestinian resistance forces, considering that his statements were provided “the Zionist enemy with an additional justification to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine.

It called on the Palestinian Authority president to offer a public apology to the Palestinian people, the families of the martyrs, and the resistance fighting to defend their land and dignity.

The movement’s statement affirmed that the heroic Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood came within the context of the open conflict with the Zionist occupation, emphasizing that resistance would remain a legitimate right of the Palestinian people until the liberation of all their national territory.
