Israeli soldier killed, 7 others injured in missile attack in northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, April 24 (YPA) – An Israeli soldier was killed, and more than seven others were wounded in a rocket attack targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Hebrew media reports on Thursday evening.

The attack occurred as part of a “security incident,” the details of which are still being revealed, while investigations are ongoing to determine the casualties and the perpetrator. The Palestinian factions have not claimed responsibility yet, in light of the ongoing field escalation between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation army.

This attack comes as the Israeli aggression against Gaza continues, amid faltering truce efforts and warnings of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip.
