Israeli occupation kidnaps Lebanese soldier

BEIRUT, March 10 (YPA) – The Lebanese Army Command announced on Monday that the Israeli occupation army had shot and kidnapped a Lebanese soldier.

“After losing contact with one of the army soldiers, and as a result of follow-up and investigation, it became clear that elements of the hostile Israeli occupation forces opened fire on soldiers who was wearing civilian clothes in the outskirts of the town of Kfar Shuba on the southern border, which resulted in his injury, and then he was transferred into the occupied Palestinian territories,” the army commando said in a statement.

The statement indicated that the occupation’s attack came within a series of repeated and increasing assaults on citizens, the latest of which was the shooting of a soldier on March 9, 2025 in the town of Kfar Kila, which led to his death, coinciding with the enemy’s continued violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and security.
