Over 9,500 Palestinians arrested by Israeli occupation

GAZA, March 05 (YPA) – Over 9,500 Palestinians have been arrested by the Israeli occupation since the beginning of current month of March.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club explained in a statement that the number of children reached more than 350, the number of women detainees was 21, in addition to 3405administrative detainees.

The statement noted that over 1555 prisoners from Gaza were admitted and classified by the occupation as illegal combatants.

It stated that the total number of prisoners inside the Israeli prisons before the genocidal war amounted to more than 5,250, including 40 female prisoners and 170 children, as well as to about 1,320 administrators.

The statement added that “the number of prisoners whose identities be known and who have been martyred since the genocidal war on the Strip has reached 61 prisoners, which is the largest number in the history of the prisoner movement, while there are hundreds of martyrs whose identities are unknown and whose names or their bodies are being held have not been announced by the occupation.
