Official in Sanaa government warns of consequences of US designation of Ansarallah

SANAA, Mar. 05 (YPA) – Ansarallah Political Bureau’s member and Govenor of Dhamar province, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, warned on Wednesday of the potential consequences of the United States’ implementing its designation of Ansarallah as a terrorist group, particularly on the peace process in Yemen.

In a post on platform X, Al-Bukhaiti stated that the U.S. announcement to enforce this designation would compel its local allies to sever ties with Sanaa, effectively closing the door to peace in an official manner.

He added that this development places the Yemeni people in a critical position, leaving them with only one option—an option that some have attempted to delay—namely, military action to liberate every inch of Yemeni territory.
