Syrian journalist killed in Turkish airstrike near Teshrin Dam in Aleppo

ALEPPO, Feb. 17 (YPA) – A journalist was killed in an airstrike by a Turkish fighter jet on the vicinity of Teshrin Dam in Aleppo countryside, while he was covering events in the region, the Syrian Observatory For Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Sunday.

According to SOHR, concerns over the targeting of journalists and media workers amidst these military operations have greatly increased.

This incident is part of the ongoing Turkish military escalation in northern and eastern Syria, as Turkish airstrikes continue in various areas.
