Osasuna fans call for expelling ‘Israel’ from FIFA

WORLD, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Fans of Spanish league soccer team Osasuna continue to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

They displayed a banner that read “Show Israel the red card” during Saturday’s match held at El Sadar Stadium in the city of Pamplona.

They called for boycotting “Israel”, while some other fans waved the Palestinian flag.

This move mirrored a similar sign waved by Scotland Celtic’s fans during Wednesday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich. Both messages called for “Israel’s” suspension from FIFA and UEFA over its war on the Gaza Strip.
