Swedish Parliament votes to impose sanctions on Israeli occupation

BRUSSELS, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The Swedish Parliament has voted to impose sanctions on the Israeli occupation.

The resolution calls on the Brussels government to stop granting arms licenses to the occupation, cease support for companies linked to its military, and halt all cooperation with companies listed in the United Nations database.

The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), saluted the political allies, activists and organizations in Belgium who supported and advocated for the adoption of this milestone resolution.

The movement called on people around the world to escalate pressure on governments to end all forms of direct or indirect complicity in the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
