MAHRA, Feb. 16 (YPA) -The head of the sit-in committee against foreign forces in Mahra province, Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, arrived in the Huswain district as part of a popular escalation campaign to thwart foreign schemes targeting the governorate.
During his meeting with the sheikhs and dignitaries of Huswain, Al- Huraizi emphasized that Saudi Arabia is working hard to implement colonial schemes in the province, using its local tools, such as the ‘Dera Al-Watan” factions, in a desperate attempt to control the governorate and plunder its resources.
He clarified that the people of Mahra will not hesitate to confront these conspiracies by all available peaceful means.
Al-Huraizi pointed out that Saudi Arabia has not stopped its attempts to impose control over the province by deploying its factions, the “Dera Al-Watan” factions to sow discord among the people of the governorate.
Al-Huraizi noted that the people of Al-Mahra, known for their adherence to the moderate Shafi’i school, reject foreign ideologies and beliefs, as well as the presence of extremist groups that Saudi Arabia uses as tools to advance its dangerous agendas.
He emphasized that the sit-in committee against foreign forces will continue to escalate its efforts against Saudi attempts, affirming that foreign schemes will fail in the face of the determination of the people of Mahra to protect their land and resources from any new form of colonialism.
For their part, the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Huswain district affirmed their rejection of foreign occupation and Saudi-backed factions, including suspicious Salafi extremist groups.
They vowed to stand united in protecting Mahra from the destructive projects that Saudi Arabia is attempting to impose by force on the people of the governorate.
