SDF denies receiving news about US forces withdrawal from Syria

SANAA, Feb. 05 (YPA) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied, on Wednesday, reports that it had received information about the withdrawal of US forces from Syria.

The director of the SDF media center, Farhad Shami, said in statements to Reuters that the SDF had not received any plans for the withdrawal of US forces from northeastern Syria, noting that the terrorist organization ISIS was naturally waiting for such an opportunity to resume its activity and reach the state of the year 2014.

Previously, US President Donald Trump denied allegations that he intended to withdraw US forces from military bases in northeastern Syria, indicating that he did not know the source of the information reported by the media in this regard.
