Early Warning renews its warnings to citizens in mountainous areas

SANAA, Feb. 02 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning renewed on Sunday its warnings to citizens in mountainous areas of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin, the center warned drivers of the decrease in horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog in the mountainous bends and slopes.

The Meteorology Center expected in its weather bulletin during the next 24 hours, generally cold weather in mountainous areas, especially in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Bayda, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, and Dhalea, as well as the plateaus and deserts of Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Mahra.

It pointed out that the coastal areas may be partly cloudy with the possibility of light rain on scattered parts of the eastern and southern coasts and the corresponding inland areas and the Socotra Archipelago, with the active to moderate winds reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the southern Red Sea and the Socotra Archipelago.
