GAZA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance movement “Hamas” held the Israeli entity responsible for any disruption in implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
In a statement issued Saturday, the movement accused the occupation entity of delaying the implementation of the conditions, especially preventing the displaced from returning to the northern Gaza Strip.
The movement stressed that “this delay may affect the rest of the agreement stages,” pointing to the continued closure of Rashid Street and the obstruction of the return of the displaced.
Hamas’s statements came in response to allegations by Israeli occupation army spokesman Daniel Hagari that the movement did not abide by the exchange agreement with Israel.
Netanyahu’s office also indicated that Israel will not allow Gaza residents to return to the northern part of the Strip until the release of the detainee, Arbel Yehud, who is expected to be released next Saturday, according to statements by Hamas.
The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, targeting civilians. Palestinian sources reported that the enemy army opened fire on citizens in the Wadi Gaza area on Saturday, resulting in the death of a civilian and the injury of two others, including a child.
