Fatah al-Intifada condemns US designation of Ansarullah as terrorist organization

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Palestinian Islamic movement, Fatah al-Intifada, strongly condemned on Thursday the US president’s decision to designate  Ansarullah as a “foreign terrorist organization.”

In a statement received by the Yemeni Press Agency, the movement said: “We strongly condemn the US administration’s decision the US decision to place “Ansarullah movement” in Yemen, led by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi Sayyed, on the so-called list of terrorist organizations.

Fatah al-Intifada explained that the US decision came in response to Zionist pressures, reflecting clear bias toward the Zionist entity, which continues to carry out aggression and terrorism against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.

The movement praised Yemen’s courageous stance in supporting the Palestinian people’s just cause and backing the Palestinian resistance throughout the 15 months of Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Fatah al-Intifada expressed confidence that this unjust and erroneous decision would not affect Ansarullah, emphasizing that the US move would only strengthen the movement’s resolve to continue its resistance against occupation.
