Irish healthcare workers will head to United Nations in Geneva for Gaza next Saturday

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Irish healthcare workers are set to travel to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva to join other healthcare workers from around the world in support of Palestine next Saturday.

An international press conference will be held on January 26th regarding this, and the protests against the genocide in Gaza will continue until January 29th.

Health workers will demand a permanent ceasefire in Palestine, the immediate release of all health workers and detainees, the restoration of Red Cross access to Palestinians imprisoned by the occupation, UN protection for medical personnel and patients in Gaza, the establishment of a safe humanitarian corridor to allow aid in and the exit of the sick and wounded, and they will demand the UN to hold Israel accountable for violations of international law.
