Sanaa government condemns US designation of Ansarullah as terrorist organization

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The government of Sanaa condemned the US president’s decision to reclassify Ansarullah as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization.”

In its meeting today, the government affirmed that the real terrorist is America, which collaborates with the Israeli enemy in killing the children, women of Gaza over a year, using advanced, deadly weapons and providing political and media cover.

The government stressed that the designation will only strengthen the Yemeni people’s steadfastness and resilience in upholding, defending of justice, particularly Yemen’s right to freedom, independence, and sovereignty over all of its territory, and their support for the oppressed.

It affirmed that this renewed decision does not serve stability in the region or the peace efforts led by the UN to achieve a just peace for the Yemeni people.

The government called on the free people of the world to condemn the designation decision, which comes in response to our people’s stance in supporting Gaza.
