EDINBURGH, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Scotland’s police have arrested Bryn Higgs, a human rights activist, in Ullapool city after he took part in a live protest an Israeli occupation’s weapons site.
Bryn Higgs, 60, was arrested with four members of the “Palestine Movement to protest against Elbit UAV Engines’ drone factory at Shenstone in Staffordshire.
The factory, owned by Elbit Systems, operates 85 percent of the occupation’s drones, including the Hermes 450, which has been involved in deadly strikes in Gaza and the West Bank.
The factory has faced more than 20 protests, including occupation and damage to equipment, with activists targeting its role in supplying the Israeli occupation army.
