ADEN, Jan. 04 (YPA) – “Petro Masila” power station in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition, will be completely out of service within the coming hours, informed sources reported on Saturday.
The sources explained that the available quantity of fuel is no longer sufficient for Sunday, as a result of crude oil tankers being prevented from leaving Hadramout.
The sources pointed out that the station is currently operating at a production capacity not exceeding 70 megawatts due to the lack of oil, while the efficiency of the alternative energy generation station, established by the UAE, declines during the evening hours.
This led to an increase in the deficit rate and power outages in most residential areas, as the outage period increased to six hours compared to only two hours of service, which doubled the suffering of the residents and burdened their daily lives.
