Israeli occupation vehicles advance into two towns in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan. 03 (YPA) – Israeli occupation military vehicles on Thursday advanced towards the outskirts of Beit Lif and Ramieh in southern Lebanon.

In conjunction with this advance, Israeli occupation forces conducted a thorough sweep of the area, using machine guns to fire heavy bursts towards the village, according to Lebanese media sources

The sources also reported that the occupation tanks fired two shells in the direction of Beit Lif, further escalating the situation.

They added that a retreat of the occupation forces was observed from the neighborhoods of the town of Nakoura towards the town of Al-Ma’lamah.

According to the Lebanese press sources, an Israeli military patrol, reinforced with “Merkava” tanks and a bulldozer, advanced to the outskirts of Beit Lif in the western sector, where a number of soldiers were seen searching some houses and forests in the town.
