STC elements storm home of official in coalition’s government, kidnap him in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 02 (YPA) – Elements of the Transitional Council factions affiliated with the UAE imposed an armed siege on the home of an official in the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the “coalition government” and kidnapped him in the center of Aden.

Local sources in the city explained that the elements tried to storm the house of the Director General of the Sports City in Aden, Ahmed Awad Al-Masoudi, in the Khor Maksar district.

The sources explained that the attempt to storm Al-Masoudi’s house and kidnap him was based on unofficial orders from an influential judge named “Bassam Ghaleb”, without mentioning the reasons.

The sources stated that the intervention of the community committee and a number of the neighborhood residents did not prevent the storming of Al-Masoudi’s house and his kidnapping.
