Shabwa coast witnesses unprecedented activity of networks smuggling Africans

SHABWA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – Hundreds of African migrants have arrived on the coasts of Shabwa province, which is under the control of the UAE-backed factions, southeast of Yemen.

According to informed sources, 336 African migrants arrived on Kida coast in Radhom district, marking an unprecedented large influx to Shabwa coast since the start of last year.

The sources reported the arrival of 256 Ethiopian migrants, including 103 women, and 80 Somali migrants.

The Emirati forces’ command has been accused of attracting migrants and recruiting them into terrorist groups in Shabwa and Abyan provinces, serving foreign interests under the guise of fighting terrorism.
