Massive march held in Istanbul to support Gaza

ANKARA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – Hundreds of thousands demonstrated in a massive march on Wednesday at the Turkish city of Istanbul in support of the Palestinian people and its resistance.

In the march, the protesters denounced the genocidal war and crimes that the Israeli occupation’s committing against civilians in Gaza.

The participants raised Turkish and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans supporting the Palestinians in facing the occupation and its crimes.

They also carried huge banners reading “Stop the genocide in Gaza” which the occupation has continued to commit against civilians since October 7, 2023.
