DUBIN, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Ireland expressed its interest in a new opportunity by converting Israeli occupation’s embassy into Palestinian museum.
The sudden closure of the Israeli embassy in Dublin, the, has opened new opportunities for the opening of a new branch of the Palestine Museum,
The Irish Times said that the step came following the occupation’s decision to close its embassy in the capital of the Northern Ireland, Dublin, the Palestine Museum is considering renting the same premises to open a new branch, which is currently based in the United States.
The Palestine Museum, is located in USA Connecticut since it opened in April 2018, and its mission is to present “the Palestinian cause to a global audience.”
Although based in the United States, the museum has held exhibitions across Europe, most recently in Bantry city, where a free exhibition titled “Art Under Fire” was held at Marino Church.
“Converting the former Israeli embassy into a Palestinian museum will be a political statement,” said Palestinian-American businessman Faisal Saleh, who founded the museum.
