Israeli occupation renews attacks on southern Lebanese towns

LEBANON, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Israeli occupation continued its strikes on areas in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, targeting several towns with shelling, controlled demolitions, and home demolitions.

An Israeli drone launched an airstrike on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while Israeli occupation forces executed controlled demolitions in Rashaf and Houla, alongside artillery shelling directed at Houla and Al-Mansouri.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that heavy Israeli military vehicles advanced into the Fourth Quarter of Al-Mansouri, demolishing a number of residential homes. Additionally, Israeli forces conducted machine-gun sweeping fire on the outskirts of the town of Ayta al-Jabal.
