Iran vows swift and decisive response to new US attacks

TEHRAN, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Iran announced its intention to respond swiftly to the new US attacks targeting its territory, asserting that Washington would pay the price for this “aggression” and would regret it.

The spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated in an official statement that the United States had made a grave mistake by launching new attacks and that it would “regret” the consequences.

He added that the Iranian response would not be delayed and would be measured and decisive, commensurate with the nature of the attack.

In the same context, Tasnim News Agency quoted a well-informed military source confirming that US interests and military bases in the region would be within the scope of Iranian targeting and that Iranian strikes would be swift.
