Two pieces of Yemeni antiquities offered for sale abroad

SANAA, Dec. 05 (YPA) – The Yemeni researcher interested in tracking and monitoring smuggled Yemeni antiquities, Abdullah Mohsen, reported on Thursday that two Yemeni antiquities have been offered for sale in the Netherlands.

Mohsen mentioned in his post on the “X” platform that a gold pendant stamp, domed on the front and flat with an engraving on the back dating back to the fourth century BC, is being offered for sale as part of Oriental Art in an auction in the Netherlands on December 12 of this year.

He stated in another post that a Yemeni funerary headstone from the second century BC is being offered for sale for the second time on December 15.
