Sheikh Naim Qassem announces Hezbollah’s support for Syria

BEIRUT, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem announced on Thursday that “Hezbollah stands with Syria in thwarting this aggression launched by Takfiri groups.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed in his speech this evening that the aggression on Syria is sponsored by America and “Israel” after their failure in Gaza.

“We are facing a very dangerous Israeli Middle Eastern project,” he said, adding that the Takfiri groups want to transfer Syria from a resistance position to a position that serves the Israeli enemy.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah addressed the Arab countries, saying, “We are facing a dangerous Israeli expansionist project, and I call on you to support the resistance in confronting Israel.”

Sheikh Qassem continued in his speech to the Arab countries, “Know that every gain for the Israeli entity is a loss for you, not a loss for Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon, and will be reflected in your countries.”
