Southern politician calls on STC to liberate from foreign powers

ADEN, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Head of the “Southern Civil Forces Gathering” Abdul Karim Al-Saadi affirmed that the southern provinces were still looking for liberation from the restrictions of the regional mentality.

He explained in a post on “X” on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the independence of South Yemen from the British occupation, that monopolizing power and eliminating others still dominates the southern areas, in a clear accusation against the leadership of the “UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

Al-Saadi stressed the need to liberate themselves from the restrictions of the regional mentality and the ugliness of the culture of acquisition and means of relying on foreign powers at the expense of national sovereignty.

He added that “the STC is dragging its followers into a fictitious battle with false slogans.”
