Former Israeli war minister admits to committing ethnic cleansing in northern Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The former Israeli occupation war minister, Moshe Ya’alon, has acknowledged the genocide war led by the occupation army in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted Ya’alon as saying, “We are carrying out ethnic cleansing in the northern Gaza Strip, and there is no longer Beit Lahia or Beit Hanoun.”

These Israeli statements are not the first. During this month, Haaretz newspaper quoted its military correspondent as saying, “The Israeli occupation forces are carrying out an ethnic cleansing operation in the northern Gaza Strip, during which the few Palestinians who remain in the area are forcibly displaced, and homes and infrastructure are destroyed.”

The process also includes completing the separation of population centers in the northern Gaza Strip from central Gaza City, the newspaper correspondent added.

The newspaper’s confession came based on its military correspondent, Yaniv Kubovic, who toured with the occupation forces, in which he concluded that “the area appears to have been subjected to a natural disaster.”

The occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 44,363 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 105,070 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
