“Hadramout Tribal Confederacy” mobilizes its militants to confront UAE-backed factions moves against it
HADRAMOUT, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The Hadramout Tribal Confederacy mobilized on Friday all its militants to confront the escalations against it by the UAE-backed factions west of the city of Mukalla, the Hadramout province’s capital, local sources reported.
The sources confirmed that the Confederacy had sent armed reinforcements in the past hours towards the west of Mukalla, amid reports that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions were moving towards the Confederacy’s points that it had established last September.
The STC factions’ moves came based on the approval of the “Presidential Leadership Council” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, after the Hadramout Tribal Confederacy was accused of preventing the exit of crude fuel trucks belonging to the PetroMasila station in Aden and shooting at the tankers coming from Marib.
This comes after the Tribal Confederacy announced last Wednesday that it would not submit to the “moves came based on the approval of the “Presidential Leadership Council” on the pretext that it does not have the decision to implement the legitimate demands of the people of Hadramout, represented in achieving development from the province’s oil wealth revenues.
