TAIZ, Nov. 18 (YPA) – A second local uprising broke out in the coastal district of Dhubab, which is under the control of the UAE-funded “Tariq Afash” factions, west of Taiz governorate.
Dozens of citizens closed the gate of Omar bin Abdul Aziz School in the Al-Jadeed area, in protest against the school principal’s dismissal of one of its teachers, who worked in the school for nearly 20 years, without right.
The residents of the area prevented the school headmaster, Hamid Bakir, from performing his duties until the teacher, whose name was not mentioned, was reinstated.
This comes after the people of the directorate cut off the coastal road last month and closed the Dhubab Rural Hospital following an incident in which a number of women died and were injured in a sewage pit without receiving health care at the hospital.
