Sanaa sends stern military message to Trump

SANAA, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs, Gen. Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed that “the position of the Yemeni armed forces in support of Gaza and Lebanon will not be affected by any US president, whether Republican or Democrat,” addressing a stern military message to the newly elected US president, Donald Trump.

Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan clarified in a press statement that Yemen’s military operations will not be affected and that the country’s stance in support of Gaza and Lebanon will remain unchanged.

Al-Ruwaishan emphasized Yemen’s firm and principled position regarding its support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

He reaffirmed Yemen’s ongoing backing of the heroic Islamic resistance movements, which continue to write proud chapters of valor in their fight against the Zionist enemy.

On Thursday, Leader of the Ansarullah Movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, also issued strong messages directed at the US following the election of Donald Trump.

In his weekly speech addressing the latest developments in the Israeli aggression, as well as regional and international issues, al-Houthi stated that the results of the U.S. elections would not affect Yemen’s principled stance.

He emphasized that Yemen’s adversaries have only one option, which is to end their aggression against Gaza and Lebanon.
