Death toll of Zionist aggression on Gaza rises to 61,599 martyrs, 154,088 injured

GAZA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Tuesday, that the death toll from the genocide resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,599 martyrs, in addition to 154,088 wounded with varying injuries.

In its daily report, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said: “Gaza Strip hospitals received 100 martyrs during the past 24 hours, including 11 martyrs who were recovered, and 513 wounded.”

It indicated that 31 martyrs and 388 wounded arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of “livelihood” victims who arrived at hospitals to 1,838 martyrs and more than 13,409 wounded.

The death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025 (the occupation’s violation of the truce) has reached 9,989 martyrs and 41,534 wounded, according to the health report.

The Ministry of Health stated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

Over the past 24 hours, Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 5 deaths, including two children, as a result of starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total number to 227 deaths, including 103 children.
