Meteorology expects rain to return to various Yemeni areas

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – Clear to partly cloudy weather may be praveled, with rans of varying intensity, over parts of the various parts of Yemen The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected on Thursday.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that scattered rains would fall on parts of Hajjah, Mahweet, and the highlands of Abyan and Shabwa, Saada, Amran, Sanaa. Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Tihama Plain and Dhamar.

The center stated that the weather in the coastal areas may be clear to partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain on parts of the western coasts and light rain on the eastern and southern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago.

The bulletin noted that the winds be very fast around the Socotra Archipelago, reaching a maximum speed of 35 knots, and light to moderate.

According to the center, the weather in the desert areas will be clear to partly cloudy, hot during the day, and the winds will be moderate in speed.

It called on motorists to drive carefully on roads and mountain slopes of poor horizontal visibility due to rainfall or fog.
