Celtic fans held up banners in support of Palestine people in Gaza

EDINBURGH, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Celtic fans held up banners in support of Palestine during their match against Slovan Bratislava’s team in the first round of the Champions League.

The match, held last week at Celtic Park, was seen Palestinian flags and banners calling for unity in the face of Israeli attacks.

“They can persecute you, they can imprison you, but they will never discourage you,” one sign read. “Gaza, Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus; you will never walk alone.”

Celtic fans have been known to support Palestine in many of their home matches.
