GAZA, Sept.15 (YPA) – The Palestinian journalist Abdullah Shakshak was shot and killed by an Israeli military quadcopter in Rafah in southern Gaza.
According to Palestinian press sources, that Israeli “quadcopters” fired at journalist Shakshak while he was in front of his house in the area of the Kuwaiti Hospital west of Rafah city.
They noted that the ambulance crews have not yet been able to retrieve his body due to the continued attacks on the ambulances by Israeli aircraft.
Journalist Shakshak worked with numerous local and Arab media organizations and also supervised and implemented many charitable initiatives for displaced families in Rafah during their displacement.
Since the beginning of the comprehensive assault on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7, 2023, more than 161 journalists have been killed, 186 others injured, and 51 arrested, according to the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate.
