AMSTERDAM, Aug. 10 (YPA) – The Netherlands and Sweden witnessed on Saturday angry demonstrations denouncing the genocide committed by Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In the Dutch city of Utrecht, hundreds of demonstrators took to Janskirkhof Square to express their support for the Palestinian people. They demonstrators called for boycotting chains of Western cafés, food, and clothing marks, including Starbucks, Zara, and McDonald’s, which support the Zionist entity.
In the Swedish capital, Stockholm, hundreds organized a march that started from Odenplan Square towards the Israeli embassy.
The marchers demanded an immediate halt to the Israeli attacks on Gaza, chanting slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine.”
In disdain for the international community, Tel Aviv continues the genocide war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
