Islamic Jihad Movement: Occupation’s bombing on journalists is crime against humanity

GAZA, July 31 (YPA) – Palestine’s media spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement, Mohammed al-Hajj Musa, confirmed on Wednesday that the massacre that Zionist enemy committed against journalists present near the home of the martyred Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza is a crime and against humanity and a blatant challenge to all human norms and values.

In a statement commenting on the crime, Musa pointed out that the Israeli enemy’s frenzied strikes are evidence of the state of despair it has reached and an attempt to restore deterrence capabilities.

He called on the free people of the world to exert pressure by all means to punish the war criminals in the enemy government and the senior officers of its army.

“Our resistance is ongoing on, and the enemy’s massacres will only increase our steadfastness, resilience, and persistence in confronting him until he is expelled from our homeland,” the spokesman said.

In turn, the Palestinian Center for the Protection of Journalists condemned the killing of journalists Ismail al-Ghoul and Rami al-Rifi in an Israeli bombing on their car in Gaza.

Earlier in the day, Al Jazeera announced that its correspondent Ismail al-Ghoul and the channel’s photographer Rami al-Rifi were killed in an Israeli airstrike while covering people’s reactions around the destroyed home of the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza.
