TEHRAN, Aug. 06 (YPA) – Iran’s intelligence service in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, announced on Wednesday over 1,000 weapons have been seized during six separate operations since April.
The intelligence service in a statement that more than 210 weapons were confiscated also in three separate operations during July.
“Most of them originate in the United States, smuggled into the country by rogue agents linked to foreign countries,” it added.
The statement continued: “These elements, linked to foreign intelligence services, particularly the Zionist entity, as well as terrorist groups in the eastern part of the country, are threatening internal security by smuggling these weapons into “Israel” with the goal of creating acts of sabotage and chaos across the borders of neighboring countries.”
