Ansarullah: The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh is a terrorist crime and a blatant violation of all laws

SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – Ansarullah Political Bureau, strongly condemned the heinous and cowardly assassination of Commander Ismail Haniyeh, which targeted one of the nation’s symbols and leaders of the resistance.

In a statement issued this morning, the Bureau said that the assassination of Commander Ismail Haniyeh is a great escalation and a major violation, as well as a blatant breach of all laws, norms, and international treaties.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also announced Haniyeh ’s assassination.

“Early this morning, the residence of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran was struck, resulting in his martyrdom along with his body guards. The incident is under investigation and will be announced soon,” the IRGC said in a statement.

In a statement released at dawn Wednesday, the Hamas Movement mourned its political bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh , saying he was “martyred in a treacherous Zionist airstrike on his residence in the Iranian capital, Tehran.”
