BAGHDAG, July 31 (YPA) – Multiple explosions reportedly rocked at a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters in the Jurf al-Sakhr area in Babil Province, south of Baghdad, resulting in at least four casualties, according to a security source and a PMF official.
The sources added that the explosions were “caused by airstrikes” on the PMF’s headquarters with “4 to 5 rockets.”
In a related development, Reuters reported that a Pentagon official stated that the US military carried out a preemptive airstrike in Iraq targeting elements attempting to launch an attack using aerial systems.
