Ministry of Human Rights condemns UN silence on coalition’s violations

SANAA, July 11 (YPA) –  Ministry of Human Rights has condemned the continued United Nations silence on the crimes and violations of the tools of the Saudi-led coalition against citizens, including sniping operations, artillery and drone targeting, the economic blockade, and the closure of airports and ports.

In a statement, the ministry noted that the UN discourse turns a blind eye to all forms of ongoing escalation by the coalition countries, particularly the arbitrary measures in the economic and humanitarian sectors affecting the Yemeni people.

The ministry criticized the UN’s position as biased, negative, and compromising with these measures and policies, effectively participating in punishing Yemenis and deepening their humanitarian suffering.
