Abyan tribal militants impose stifling siege on STC in Aden

ADEN, July 03 (YPA) – Tribal militants from Abyan province imposed on Wednesday a stifling siege on the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

Informed local sources said, “The militants of the Abyan tribes cut off the international road linking the city of Aden and Hadramout province until the release of Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, who has been forcibly hidden since mid-June in the STC prisons, is the commander of an air defense battalion in Aden.”

Local sources reported that tribal militants blocked the international road after the deadline set for the STC to release the kidnapped Al-Jaadani expired, and they prevented the passage of fuel and gas trucks in addition to the factions’ military vehicles in Abyan.
