Clashes break out at California University between supporters, opponents of Israeli war on Gaza

SANAA, May 01 (YPA) – Clashes broke out on Wednesday, between students calling for an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, and others who support the Zionist entity, at the University of California, Los Angeles.

American media said that “police fired gas bombs to break up clashes between students”, amid American reports of the arrest of about 1,000 people on more than 25 university campuses in 21 states since last April 18.

This comes hours after the New York Police stormed the perimeter of Hamilton Hall on the Columbia University campus, arresting dozens at the university.
